Research Projects

- Identification, characterization, ecology, epidemiology and integrated control of plant viruses with emphasis on grapevine and vegetables viruses.

- Clonal selection, sanitary selection and certification (participation in the Mediterranean Grapevine Closterovirus Network & Sanitary Certification of Grapevine/UE Project/1993-1997).

- Genetic improvement of Solanaceous and Cucurbits species against viruses.

- Participation in 31 research projects (one European and 30 national). The total incoming funds of these projects, has been c. 875.000 EURO.
